The Personal Cushion Lift is a patented, inflatable cushion designed to

assist in raising a person from the floor or helping someone to take a bath.

 

  • The unique design makes it easy to assemble by connecting just one hose and simple to use by pushing just one button. 
  • This equipment can be used privately and independently by any person who has good personal balance and control, despite being physically challenged or disabled. 
  • It can also be used with the help of a caregiver or family member to easily provide mobility and lift without injury.
  • For best results anyone using the Personal Cushion Lift should be able to balance themselves and control their own movements while the cushion moves their body up and down, even if being assisted and stabilized by a caregiver.

 

All The Needed Equipment Is Included

 

  • The inflatable cushion is made with durable, water-proof vinyl fabric and heavy upholstery thread. The fabric is very resistant to punctures and tears during normal use. Inside the fabric, two air chambers made of heavy duty rubber provide the needed lift to assist the user.
  • A small light-weight air pump with a 20 foot long vinyl hose supplies the compressed air. The air pump is powered by electricity from a normal wall outlet which means you will always have consistent and reliable air pressure to inflate your Personal Cushion Lift.
  • The 20 foot long air hose allows the air pump to be placed safely in another room and controlled remotely using a wireless remote control. This push-button on/off switch operates for at least 50 feet from the air pump. The air hose includes an automatic pressure release valve to avoid accidentally over-inflating the cushion. 
  • Foam supports are sewn onto the fabric cover on the top seating area and on the bottom of the cushion.  These unique foam supports help to minimizes side-to-side movement and stabilizes the cushion while it’s inflated.  
  • The unique design of the cushion has a low point in the center of the seating surface. This causes the person sitting on the cushion to remain centered as the cushion inflates and deflates. This low center point offers enhanced support, stability and comfort.

 

Custom Cushion Sizes and Colors

 

When you order a Personal Cushion Lift, let me know:

  • your intended use (floor, chair or bath)
  • any special features you need for your situation (shape, diameter, height, etc.).
  • the weight and height of the primary user to ensure the correct adjustments for proper equipment operation. 
  • Custom sizes and shapes are available by request for a slightly higher cost. 
  • Most customers find the standard 21″ tall floor cushion, and standard 17″ tall bath cushion to be their best choice.
  • I now make most of the cushions using the Royal Blue color fabric since it is the most popular. I keep this color fabric in stock for making cushions which can be ready for shipment in about 30 days. Cushions can be made from fabric which includes several colors of your choosing.
  • Please contact me for color options which are currently available and prices based on the options needed.  Allow two weeks longer for the delivery of custom colors due to the time needed to order the materials and complete the products.

 

Parts and Labor Warranty

 

  • Because of the personal nature of these products, I do not accept returns. However the entire device comes with a 30 day parts and labor warranty to repair or replace any equipment defects due to manufacturing. This does not cover damage due to misuse by the buyer or user of the products.  If your Personal Cushion Lift is accidentally damaged after delivery, I can repair or replace most of the damaged parts for a small fee plus shipping.
  • If you no longer need your Personal Cushion Lift, you will find there are a great many people around you (friends and family members) who would be interested in buying a used Personal Cushion Lift which is still in good condition.
